A decorative Art Nouveau hour repeating carriage clock with with 8 day power reserve, half hour/hour self strike and alarm Case: gilt "Anglaise" case, bracket feet, profiled base and cornice with a surrounding dentil pattern, the corners decorated with finely cast 3/4 columns with flutes, gilt bases and copper-colured Corinthian capitals, the sides decorated with translucent purple-coloured enamelled lillies on an engine-turned and translucent silver-coloured ground, waved handle with fluted middle part, facet glazed front, back and top, button for repeating mechanism. Dial: eccentric silver chapter dial with Arabic numerals on an engine-turned and translucent silver-coloured ground similar ornamented with translucent purple-coloured enamelled lillies, signed, open-worked centre with floral decor, blued hands. Movm. : rectangular brass full plate movement, gilt, keywind, 2 hammers / 1 gong, enamel alarm disc with radial Arabic numerals, 3 barrels for going train, strike and alarm, platform with English lever escapement, gold screw compensation balance.
