A decorative and remarkable Austrian gold enamel pear form pendant watch with original gold-covered morocco case
Case: 14k gold and opaque enamel, champlevé enamel motifs: white flowers and gold foliage against a green ground, case band with a blue and black border. Later Viennese 14k gold Austro-Hungarian monarchy assay mark 1872-1922. Dial: enamel. Movm.: full plate movement, keywind, chain/fusee, verge escapement.
The quality of the engraving and enamelling on the case is outstanding. The peduncle and the receptacle are finely executed This is a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery.
