A gold enamel pendant watch, studded with diamonds of royal provenance
Case: 18k gold, polychrome enamel, diamonds. Dial: enamel. Movm.: bridge movement, keywind, cylinder escapement, three-arm steel balance.
Both sides of the round hunting case are decorated with a diamond border and translucent cobalt blue enamelling on a radial engine-turned pattern. The back shows a gold crown set with diamonds above the letter G. The front is decorated with the polychrome painting of a Romanian royal/marriage coat of arms - most likely a gift on the occasion of a royal wedding.
