A highly exquisite gold enamel pocket watch with centre seconds, virgule escapament and very fine enamel decoration, studded with split pearls
Case: 18k gold, pendant with number and punch mark "CL". Dial: enamel. Movm.: bridge movement, keywind, going barrel, three-arm brass balance.
The back of this marvellous pocket watch is elaborately decorated with a translucent cobalt blue enamel medallion on engine-turned floral and geometric pattern. The medallion is framed by a double row of lustrous split pearls on both sides of a fine paillon band, which is repeated in the bezel on the front. The square pendant is decorated with identical paillon flowers on both sides. A charming treasure of fine quality even with minor restorations.
