class=Body>
class=Body> Bardon worked at Boulevard National 61 in Clichy and was known for this type of clock with electro-magnetic power, driven by a battery. The battery sits in the round brass container fitted to the top plate of the case. The purpose-built escapement transfers the magnetic impulse to the horseshoe-shaped pendulum bob. Bardon created different versions of his electric clocks; this classic, gilt, pendulum style with central second was one of his most exclusive models.
