Case: 18k gold, push back, PPC buckle. Dial: silvered.
This fine timepiece was sold by The renowned jeweller Gobbi in Milan, whose signature sits in the centre of the dial just below the hands.
Patek Philippe introduced reference 2449 "Grande Calatrava" in 1948. Until approximately 1955, two series of the 2449 were produced in yellow and red gold; the first series was fitted with calibre 12-120 such as this model, the second series used calibre 12-400.
