Brass, firegilt, radial Roman hours, engraved compass rose in the centre, blued iron hand.

Circular brass movement, gut/fusee, 1 barrel for striking train, 1 hammer, stackfreed, hog's bristle, locking plate with internal teeth, verge escapement, two-arm iron balance without balance spring.

Product Description

The outside wall of the clock is decorated all around with engraved leaf scrolls and also three portraits of a gentleman at different stages of his life, with various matching headgear such as a knight’s helmet or a crown. The clock is supported by three-dimensional feet in the shape of lions sitting on their hind legs with shields in their front paws.
