Lot 29

A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte i/SA, "LANGE 1 DAYMATIC", Movement No. 81968, Case No. 195172, Ref. 320.032, Cal. L021.1, 39,5 mm, circa 2011
An automatic Glashuette wristwatch in mint condition, with Lange oversize date and retrograde day-of-week display - with original box, operating instructions, setting pin, Lange-booklet and Lange-guarantee seal dated April 5, 2011
Case: 18k pink gold, sapphire glass screwed on back, "Lange" 18k pink gold buckle. Dial: solid silver, argenté.
The off-centre dials for seconds and hours and minutes on the main dials as well as the outsize date that are typical of the LANGE 1 are repeated in the LANGE 1 DAYMATIC – albeit in a mirror-image reversal of the layout; the power reserve display is replaced by a retrograde date. When the LANGE 1 DAYMATIC was launched in 2010, it was the first model of the LANGE 1 family with automatic winding, which is reflected in its name. The heart of the movement is the 21k gold and platinum central rotor, which is almost as large as the movement itself.
