message "HEURES D'AMOUR" (love hours) -

Dr. Crott Auctioneers held their first auction of 2016, their 93rd
, on Saturday,
May 14, 2016. Even though it was a "long" bank holiday weekend,
the Skyloft at the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel filled up easily with all
the lovers of fine timepieces who had come from near and far. On Friday
afternoon and Saturday morning the collectors had made good use of
the allocated preview time and studied all the lots in great detail.

To the best of our knowledge this is one of only eight such
pieces in the world and at the same time the largest and most
extravagant of the surviving peach watches. This example seems to be the most important and most valuable
Ilbery watch on the market today.
